Since the end of the cold war, the United States resorted to soft power to expand in former USSR countries. One of the successful examples of this is in Ukraine, where Washington planners engineered a coup d’etat in 2014 and installed anti-Russian elites in power.
This reckless policy was planned and executed by the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland who said the U.S. spent $5 billion since the early 1990s to spark a colour revolution in the backyard of Russia.
Eight years after the coup, while Russia waged an offensive on Ukraine saying the country has become a satellite state for NATO, citing national security concerns, NATO countries poured Ukraine with all sorts of weaponry, including missiles and tanks, which raised serious concerns on a nuclear clash between the U.S. and Russia.
In this regard, Scott Ritter, former United States Marine Corps intelligence officer and United Nations Special Commission weapons inspector, said “we are on the cusp of thermonuclear war!”
We discuss in this video the military escalation not only in Ukraine but also in Taiwan and Iran by the U.S. empire. Are we heading to World War Three?
