At 12:56 a.m. on Thursday dawn (08.04.2021), Israel launched aerial aggression from over the Lebanese territories through which it targeted a number of sites in the surroundings of Damascus.
The Syrian Air defenses intercepted the hostile missiles and downed most of them. A Syrian military source said that the Israeli aggression injured four Syrian soldiers and inflicted material damages.
Unlike the previous raids, the Syrian army sent a strong message to Israel last week by firing an S-200 missile that followed the Israeli warplane over the Lebanese air space. This could change the equation of engagement between Syria and Israel, according to Kevork Almassian.
